Abu Nein - Is Anyone Awake?

Facts Abu Nein return with Is Anyone Awake?, released February 5, 2027 via Icons Creating Evil Art. Produced by Erica Li Lundqvist and Tobias Bernstrup, the album brings together hypnotic darkwave, gothic post-punk and minimal electronics, with Lundqvist’s commanding voice at its centre. The Malmö band have established a strong presence in Europe’s darkwave underground through performances across Scandinavia and Europe, including Wave-Gotik-Treffen, Amphi Festival and Prague Gothic Treffen, and shared stages with Kite, Linea Aspera and She Past Away. Is Anyone Awake? takes their atmospheric sound into a more direct confrontation with the darkness within.
