Bad Brains - Bad Brains (Banana Peel Vinyl LP)

Facts Bad Brains is the self-titled debut album from the American hardcore punk/reggae band Bad Brains. The album was recorded in 1981 and released on the then cassette label ROIR on February 5, 1982. Many fans call it "The Yellow Tape" because of its yellow packaging. Although Bad Brains recorded the 16-track album Black Dots in 1979 and the 5-track EP Omega Sessions in 1980, the ROIR cassette was the band's first release longer than a single. The release includes original liner notes by Ira Kaplan of Yo La Tengo. In collaboration with the band, Org Music supervised the restoration and remastering of the iconic Bad Brains recordings. Remastered by Dave Gardner at Infrasonic Mastering. Banana Peel Vinyl LP.
