The Bill Evans Trio - Moon Beams (Orange Vinyl Lp)

Facts Released in 1962 following the tragic death of bassist Scott LaFaro, "Moon Beams" marks Bill Evans' return to the trio format with Chuck Israels and Paul Motian. The album is one of his most introspective works, filled with delicate ballads that radiate quiet intensity and fragile beauty. Evans' subtle, deliberate phrasing stands out especially in his interpretations of "Polka Dots and Moonbeams" and "I Fall in Love Too Easily." Restrained as it is, the record is unforgettable and distills the essence of Evans' art into a deeply personal musical expression. Orange vinyl LP.
