Various - Hot Rockin' Girls

Facts 2009 collection. '50's female Rock 'n' Roll is very rare on CD and this compilation brings together some of the brightest and most innovative female rockers of that era. Everything on this collection rocks: no ballads, no mid-tempos, just raucous non stop Rock 'n' Roll. Big stars like Connie Francis, Wanda Jackson and Brenda Lee join forces with lesser known artists like Laura Lee Perkins and Jo Anne Campbell. Many of these artists became famous during the 1970's Rockabilly revival rather than at the time of these recordings. 25 tracks. Jasmine.
