V/A - Man's Best Friend: A Canine Cornucopia

Facts It's A Dog's Life, so the saying goes. From a musical standpoint it's hard to argue with that. Our canine chums have been celebrated in song for decades. Not to be unfair to felines, and with apologies for any mixed metaphors, Rex, Towser and Fido certainly seem to have had the lion's share of audio tributes over the years. Audio tributes, but never a CD that brings the best of them together in one enriched-with-nourishing-marrowbone-jelly collection. That's all about to change with "Man's Best Friend", Jasmine's specially themed tribute to, er, Man's Best Friend. A collection of songs about dogs, for dogs and even by dogs. A compilation that dogs have been requesting for years. Ask any dog, they will tell you that's 'howl' long they've waited for this... Some of the biggest stars of the 1950s and early 1960 line up here to pay tribute to all things canine, in an enjoyable and varied musical menu that you would have to be barking mad not to like. Completely guaranteed to appeal to all types of animal fans (even cat lovers)! The perfect musical pick-me-up for when you are feeling 'ruff'. 9 out of 10 dog owners who expressed a preference said their dogs preferred "Man's Best Friend" to any other brand of dog-themed CD
