Brenda Lee - The Jasmine Ep Collection

Facts The possessor of one of the most awesome voices in the history of Popular Music, the diminutive (just 4'9" tall) Brenda Lee was known as "Little Miss Dynamite". A hugely successful child entertainer, she made the transition to stardom with ease, cutting her first record at the age of eleven and her first million-seller, 'Sweet Nothin's', at the age of fifteen. Despite her relative youth, Brenda was the most accomplished, versatile female singer of her era, equally comfortable with either rockers or ballads - she sold millions of both. This eclectic compilation of thirty-one of her classic recordings is drawn from EPs issued variously in the US, the UK, France and West Germany between 1959-62. It includes most of her early hits, a few misses, a number of flips, and a dedicated, EP-only side.
