Bridge - Orchestral Works

Facts A select few orchestral pieces notwithstanding, the works of Frank Bridge were largely ignored until conductor Richard Hickox began a project to record the complete cycle of his orchestral works. As a result Bridge has finally been recognized as the remarkably varied and imaginative composer that he was. Hailed as "one of the most important contributions to British music on disc," this impressive orchestral catalogue is here assembled and released for the first time as an attractive six-disc box set.
