Bruno Guiderdoni - Le Creationnisme (Collection Lislam Des Lumieres) (3CD)

Facts Rémeaux & Associés and the Grande Mosquée de Paris have joined forces to promote the history, philosophy, cultures and knowledge of the Muslim world. Can one be a scientist and a believer today? Answering this question in the affirmative seems to be a challenge in our time when science and religion maintain a conflictual relationship that began in modern times. Bruno Guiderdoni, an astrophysicist by profession, director of the Lyon Observatory and director of the Institut des Hautes Études Islamiques, takes up the challenge and proposes to engage in a peaceful dialogue between science and religion. To do this, he recalls the millenary interweaving of these two, particularly in the Arab-Muslim world where scholars such as Averroes and Algazel developed a non-contradictory relationship between the revealed truth of the Koran and scientific discoveries.
