Carole Carr - Imported Carr American Gas!

Facts Britain's Carole Carr was asked to record this stunning album in Hollywood, where those in the business were quick to recognize her huge talent. And what a superb album it is, comprising familiar classics as well as some completely new numbers. Backed by lush and imaginative orchestral arrangements, the singer is in wonderful voice. The dozen tracks of the album are followed by eight that were recorded in England with Geraldo's orchestra. They are all gems. It is no wonder the legendary US songwriter Jimmy Van Heusen said of her 'This is one of the best girl singers I've ever heard - ever.' She was.
