City Saints - Explosiv!

Facts Swedish punk rockers City Saints' studio album Explosiv! The band's sixth album since forming in Gothenburg in 2012. The album works as a tribute to the band's hometown of Gothenburg, both in its lyrics and in its musical influences from the Gothenburg punk scene of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Explosivt! kicks off with a surprise in the Ennio Morricone-inspired “Göta Älv.” This atmospheric number paves the way for a run of high-tempo anthems and dirty rock 'n' roll. Produced by Chips Kiesbye, known for his work with The Hellacopters and Michael Monroe. The result is a naturally sounding record that recalls the stripped-down productions of punk rock's golden age. Vinyl LP.
