Comfort Module - Undertone (Vinyl LP)

Facts Musically, Comfort Module and the album Undertone are a love child of Depeche Mode and Nine Inch Nails. If that child grew up with Kent in their headphones and made out with IAMX in the schoolyard, then you have the debut album in a safe cradle.

"I know we have a retro sound," says Henrik. "But it's not ironic or calculated. It's just where we have our soul. We grew up with that era and love the sound."

The album's nine tracks are the result of many long studio sessions, where the synths and soundscape are allowed to become a complex cluster of melodies and processing of Pär's vocals.

"Undertone" was recorded in Comfort Module's studio in Täby kyrkby, mastered in Sandviken, and designed by Rolf Carl Werner in Gävle.
