Darshan Ambient - Fire Light

Facts Darshan Ambient's ninth studio album, and latest release on Spotted Peccary, draws inspiration from the themes and moods of the Civil War-era documentary Remember the Sultana, for which Michael Allison scored the soundtrack. This somber story of a forgotten tragedy sets the stage for minimalist orchestrations and poignant melodic piano motives reminiscent of the more introspective sides of Phillip Glass and Arvo Pärt.
