Faulkes William Rubinstein Anton - William Faulkes: An Edwardian Conce

Facts William Faulkes - England's most prolific organ composer - was one of the leading figures in a generation of organists and organ composers whose style of writing went out of fashion. His music is melodious, spirited, uplifting - a manifest example of the national confidence present in the early part of the twentieth century. The St. Mary's organ has the ideal color palette for Faulkes, and Duncan Ferguson is a compelling advocate, reveling in the music that speaks from and of the golden age of organ concert-going.
