Pierre Et Le Loup (CD)

Facts Here are two tales of awakening to classical music told by the immense Gérard Philipe, legendary icon of French cinema and theater. "Peter and the Wolf" is a musical tale composed by Russian conductor Serge Prokofiev, in which the characters are embodied by instruments of a symphony orchestra. We happily follow the adventures of a young boy and the animals he meets, each one represented by a musical theme and his instrument. Recorded in 1956, this version by Gérard Philipe is one of the greatest works of our sound heritage. In "Mozart Told to Children", the actor tells children about the life of the genius composer, it is, in sound pedagogy for children, one of the first great works on the life and work of Mozart. The captivating voice of Gérard Philipe, the quality of the interpretations and the writing, make these sound tales essential, for young and old alike.
