Dana Gillespie - Under My Bed

Facts Savvy, self-assured and life-affirming, "Under My Bed" presents 12 brand new recordings from Britain's Blues Queen Dana Gillespie. In a recording career which has spanned six decades, here Dana touches on such universal themes as love, loss and the passage of time. Co-written and co-produced with guitarist Jake Zaitz, song titles such as 'Old School', 'Va Va Voom' and 'Big Mouth' show that Dana still has plenty to say on what is remarkably her 70th album to date. Heartbreak, hope and being happy in one's skin - subjects delivered with honesty and panache. Bold, brave, provocative, spiritual, down-to-earth, celestial - just some of the words which attempt to do justice to this consummate artist, and her music with the London Blues Band.
