Facts Phil Harris enchanted a new generation of fans as the voice of "Baloo" singing "The Bare Necessities" in The Jungle Book, but he was a successful recording artist long before that! Here are 26 vibrant recordings made between 1949 and 1958, and only a few have been available in any form since their original release. Recorded in Hollywood, California, November 5, 6, and 7, 1958. Orchestra and Chorus conducted by Buddy Cole.
