Helix - Phoenix (CD)

Facts Recorded in 1979, "Phoenix" marks Julian Mount's bold evolution from the intimate folk of Unsung Lies to the imaginative world of what he called "Fantasy Rock." With Helix, Mount fused poetic songwriting, rich harmonies, and adventurous instrumentation into something entirely his own. Produced and engineered by Mount himself, these recordings capture the spirit of independence and invention that defined the underground scene of the era. "Phoenix" burns with vision, energy, and emotion, rising again to reveal the depth and originality of an artist whose creativity has never stopped shining.
