HOKKA - Via Miseria IV (Red Vinyl LP)

Facts HOKKA is the new Finnish goth-edged rock sensation around Joel Hokka (ex Blind Channel), former The Rasmus genius, Pauli Rantasalmi, and wonderkid drummer, Jimi Aslak. Musically. It draws a clear line to the heritage of the global explosion of early 2000's Finnish rock shown on the band's previous singles, 'In The Darkness' and 'Death by Cupid's Arrow', which celebrated their live premiere on Finnish national TV during the Oulu 2026 New Year's Eve show. HOKKA's tale of the warrior (Joel) and his sensei (Pauli) marks a journey into the darkest corners of the heart, where vengeance entwines with the fragile thread of love and the path of suffering leads to unexpected beauty. The album channels this story in empowering, melancholic songs like 'Heart Said No', stunning opener, 'Blackbird', and 'Via Miseria', forming a striking, anthemic debut.
