Jill Johnson - Songs For Daddy

Facts There's no doubt that Jill Johnson is Sweden's uncrowned queen of country, but here she steps away from country music with an American Songbook album! It's a tribute to Jill's father, who has supported her throughout her career.

After Jill's success as a singer, musician and songwriter, not least in country music, with the acclaimed SVT series "Jills veranda" and the hit show "Jill" at Börsen in spring 2014, Jill chooses to try something entirely new: recording American classics from the 1920s onward. Standards arranged for big band and strings by arranger and musician Anders Berglund.
