The Jones Girls - Coming Back (Expanded)

Facts Digitally remastered and expanded edition of fifth album by The Jones Girls. From Detroit, The Jones Girls first sang as background vocalists for Diana Ross before landing a deal with Gamble & Huffs iconic PIR label and scoring hits. A sensational live concert at London's Dominion Theatre in 1992 lead to the sisters engaging with musicians and producers on the exploding British R&B music scene including Jazzie B (Soul II Soul), Errol Henry, Steve Carmichael (The Affair) and Funhill. Released when vinyl was still the significant format, few realized there were bonus tracks on a CD, these combined with remixes previously on 12 only plus a re-edit of the title track making for a long overdue reissue of one of the most underrated soul albums of the '90s.
