John Carroll Kirby - The Luckiest Man In America

Facts Stones Throw Records presents the official soundtrack to the feature film The Luckiest Man in America, composed and performed by John Carroll Kirby. Kirby delivers a meditative, atmospheric score that mirrors the film’s surreal tale of fortune, unraveling, and human fragility. Drawing from ambient jazz, new age, and experimental film music, the soundtrack blends vintage synths, upright piano, and subtle orchestration into something unmistakably Kirby — warm, spacious, and emotionally resonant. Recorded in his home studio, each piece gently drifts between dream and reality, functioning as both a narrative device and a standalone listening experience. Whether paired with the film or heard on its own, The Luckiest Man in America is an immersive, introspective journey.
