Larry Coryell - Aspects / Two For The Road / European Impressions

Facts The Eleventh House was an important jazz fusion group of the 1970s. Led by the guitarist Larry Coryell, the band is considered to be one of the pioneering jazz rock bands of the mid-1970s alongside The Mahavishnu Orchestra, Weather Report and Return to Forever. The band was formed in 1973 and the album "Aspects" on CD1 of this collection was released in 1976 and was their third and final album. The following year Coryell recorded Two For The Road with Steve Khan who had played guitar on Aspects, and then in 1978 Coryell released the in-concert recording European Impressions. Both of these albums are on CD2. The Eleventh House reunited in 1998 and toured all over the world until the end of 1999. There was a further reunion in 2015 for some live concerts and a studio album Seven Secrets which was released in 2017. Coryell passed away that same year.
