Leclerc - Quebecois 1957-1962 (2CD)

Facts His deep voice and a special feeling for words and music made Félix Leclerc one of the greatest poets to sing French-language songs. This 2-album anthology compiled by Olivier Julien brings together recordings made between 1957 and 1962, and the set completes the earlier box with the title "Felix Leclerc, Chansons Perdues 1950-1953" (FA5230). The French Canadian Félix Leclerc, one of the first great French-language songwriters, took Quebec into the firmament of song, opening the way for countless artists he inspired, from Brassens to Charlebois and Brel.
