Les Big Byrd - Stockholm Death Star

Facts After supporting Goat and The Brian Jonestown Massacre on their 2014 European tours, Les Big Byrd present Stockholm Death Star, recorded in the band's own studio in Sweden's capital. Trippy space-rock over pulsating motoric, with a strong feel for melody. Produced during the dark months of the Scandinavian winter, the music still has an ethereal light glimmering through the blissfully stoned vocal harmonies and chiming twelve-string guitar riffs. Three of the tracks have the band's typical, almost danceable groove, before the spaced-out Vapour R.I.P ends in an uplifting crescendo with fuzz guitars and mellotron strings.
