Little Richard - Here's Little Richard + Little Richard The Second Album

Facts THE DEFINITIVE REMASTERED EDITION - THE ARCHITECT OF ROCK & ROLLAlso known as "The Architect of Rock & Roll", "The Georgia Peach", and "The Living Flame", Little Richard stands alone in the annals of music history. He recorded some of the most iconic songs and sounds ever heard, and was the originator who inspired legions to pursue music, blurred racial lines, and sent America into an uproar over his mix of church music, R&B beats, blaring vocals, and New Orleans-fired boogie-woogie. This special collector's edition compiles his two first and finest albums: Here's Little Richard (1957) and Little Richard (1958). Both LPs contain the cream of the crop from Richard's hitmaking stretch for the Specialty label during his most inspired years. In addition, we have included 8 bonus tracks consisting of hard to find sides from the same period. These splendid recordings feature a virtual who's who of fabulous musicians from the Crescent City scene, including Lee Allen, Alvin "Red" Tyler, Ray Montrell, Frank Fields and Earl Palmer, among others. This is as explosive, engaging and lively as early rock & roll can sound.
