Ernie Maresca - Shout! Shout! Knock Yourself Out!

Facts This Bronx-born rocker scored a 1962 smash with that title tune but was particularly renowned as a songwriter (he penned Dion's "Runaround Sue," "The Wanderer" and many more). Along with all of Ernie's 1960-62 Seville cuts (the mono and stereo versions of the title hit plus "How I Cry," "Subway Blues," "Mary Jane," "They Don't Know" and more), this CD boasts bonus covers of his songs: those two Dion smashes plus "No One Knows," "A Lover's Prayer" Dion & the Belmonts, "Lonely World" Dion, "Oh Baby" Regents, "Running Around" Billy Fury and more!
