Monica Zetterlund - På Berns 1964

Facts Monica Zetterlund sings lyrics by Tage Danielsson and Beppe Wolgers with Lasse Färnlöf's quintet.
We are proud to present a unique recording from Monica Zetterlund's first own stage show, held at Berns in January 1964. The repertoire is unique because in many cases it has not been released before. Several of the songs come from her folk park tour in the summer of 1963, for which Tage Danielsson wrote the lyrics, and others come from Beppe Wolgers' cabaret show at Hamburger Börs that same autumn.

The CD also includes a booklet with extensive text by jazz writer Jan Olsson and private photos from pianist Göran Lindberg's collection. Lindberg also performs on the recording as a member of Färnlöf's quintet.
