Motörhead - The Manticore Tapes (2LP + 7")

Facts Motörhead - "The Manticore Tapes" [Deluxe Bookpack] [Clear 2xLP / 7" Single] In 1976, the seminal lineup of Motörhead was solidified a year after the band's initial inception. The "three amigos" era of Motörhead; Lemmy (bass/vocals), Fast Eddie Clarke (guitar) and Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor (drums), joined forces and began their extraordinary journey to the top of the hard rock elite. In August of that year, the band set up at Emerson, Lake & Palmer's legendary Manticore Studio in Fulham to rehearse and showcase their new lineup. Now, 49 years after recording there for the first time, the long-lost tape has been discovered, dusted off and restored in all it's raw glory to celebrate the band's 50th anniversary. Deluxe Bookpack includes expanded 2 LP set on clear vinyl, bonus 7" single, and 24-page booklet.
