Description
Johnny Depp stars in this Western written and directed by Jim Jarmusch. William Blake (Depp) travels to the frontier town of Machine to take up a position at the town's metal works, only to discover that the vacancy has already been filled. After being chased away by the company's violent owner John Dickinson (Robert Mitchum), Blake becomes involved in a series of chaotic and violent confrontations which leave him wounded and close to death.

However, his fortunes change when he is befriended by a Native American outcast called Nobody (Gary Farmer) who vows to be his guide for the rest of his journey. The cast also includes Lance Henriksen, Gabriel Byrne and Crispin Glover.
