Sandy Nelson - Big Sixties Frat Party!!!

Facts The latest in our series of limited edition CD releases features another fabulous collection of hot-rockin', foot-stompin', feel-good instrumentals from drum maestro Sandy Nelson. "h the CD has been compiled and annotated by Dave Burke and Clive Poole of Pipeline magazine. These guys know exactly what instrumental fans want.... Just about all the tracks are new to CD and are cherry-picked from ten LPs recorded between 1965 and 1969, when Nelson was at the height of his powers. "h Selections include many classic good-time anthems and the punch and vigor Nelson brings to them is unmatched. There is no doubt that his good taste and undoubted love of soul music shines through, particularly when he steams through favorites such as Wilson Pickett¡¦s Mustang Sally and then stomps all over Stevie Wonder's Nothing's Too Good for My Baby.
