Paul Smith - Revolutions

Facts The new album from VOCES8 co-founder Paul Smith centres around an emotionally charged trio of choral works inspired by the past but with an important message of hope for the world around us today and features the hugely popular octet VOCES8. The journey towards this album began with the release of 'Reflections' in 2019 and 'Renewal?' in 2022. Both albums received critical acclaim, with BBC Music Magazine saying: 'A superbly devised programme... A disc for the present time, immaculately sung'. 5 Stars * In this third instalment of the trilogy, Smith shares six new choral compositions and combines them with improvisations from a unique combination of instrumental forces. The result is captivating and sonically spellbinding.
