Pelican - Flickering Resonance

Facts Pelican has always been a band that comes not just from Chicago, but clearly from Chicago. Formed in 2000 by guitarists Trevor Shelley de Brauw and Laurent Schroeder-Lebec together with brothers Bryan and Larry Herweg on bass and drums, respectively. These songs draw as much inspiration from towering '90s post-hardcore, spacerock and emo as from traditional metal, which shows that while Godflesh and Goatsnake records occupied the shelves of Pelican's songwriters, so did Quicksand, Christie Front Drive and Hum.
