Rising star Rachel Bochner is an indie-pop-rock force to be reckoned with. The Brooklyn-based artist has built a reputation on sharp songwriting with an unflinching willingness to explore the complexities of emotion, identity, and discovery. Pairing deeply personal narratives with textured production, Bochner's debut album cracks open her sense of self and catalogs a new period of sonic and personal evolution. A body of work rooted in the aftermath of a long-term relationship and the unraveling that followed, the record orbits her queer identity's entanglement with guilt, grief, and the start of complex acceptance.
