Respighi - Works For Violin

Facts This, the first of two volumes of Respighi's complete works for violin and piano, features some of his earliest compositions. They are notable for their openness to influences as diverse as German Romanticism, Russian Nationalism and the French school, as if Respighi were trying out different styles in the search for his own personal idiom.
