Erlend Ropstad - Gleden & Sorgen

Facts Erlend Ropstad wanted to open up a bit more and let in more air and light on this record compared to his previous album, which was a fairly maxed-out rock record. Even though the lyrics are mostly somewhat sad in theme, the record's lyrical framing suggests that without sorrow, there may not be much joy in joy. There is a duality, a yin-yang situation between the two, in that they complement each other.
