Facts The King's Warden OST LP is a limited edition analog vinyl release featuring the original soundtrack to the film directed by Jang Hang-jun and starring Yoo Hae-jin, Park Ji-hoon, Yoo Ji-tae, Jeon Mi-do, Kim Min, Park Ji-hwan, Lee Joon-hyuk, and Ahn Jae-hong, set in Cheongnyeongpo in 1457 and exploring themes of exile, longing, and quiet resilience through a restrained yet emotionally evocative score by Dalpalan that blends Western strings with traditional Korean strings and percussion, and this release includes 1 LP with a total of 24 tracks pressed as a 12-inch 180g heavyweight picture disc housed in a gatefold jacket, a 6-page lyrics booklet, 2 posters, a photocard set with printed autographs consisting of 7 pieces, and an additional booklet containing previously unreleased film stills and written contributions from director Jang Hang-jun and composer Dalpalan, offering deeper insight into the film and it's music. The picture disc artwork is based on Woljungdo, a historic painting depicting the exile site Cheongnyeongpo of King Danjong preserved by the Academy of Korean Studies Jangseogak Archives, adding significant collectible value, and the soundtrack features the song Companion with narration by Park Ji-hoon as Lee Hong-wi and vocals by Jeon Mi-do as Maehwa, written by Yoon Jong-shin and composed by Dalpalan, with audio specifically remastered for vinyl and lacquer cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios in the U.K., manufactured in Germany to ensure warmth, clarity, and detail, and planned and produced by Moosunji to deliver the film's emotional depth through the distinctive texture of analog sound.
