Sunny Sweeney - Rhinestone Requiem

Facts Sunny Sweeney has spent nearly two decades carving out a fiercely independent path in country music, crafting a sound rooted in tradition while unflinchingly reflecting her life experiences. Hailing from East Texas and now based in Hendersonville, Tennessee, Sweeney has built a reputation as a sharp, authentic storyteller and honky tonk torchbearer. Her sixth album, Rhinestone Requiem, showcases her love of classic country styles and her talent for emotionally resonant songwriting. Sweeney's music reflects a woman who's lived through pain and come out stronger, using her songs to connect with fans who feel seen through her lyrics. Rhinestone Requiem stands as a testament to that journey: a collection of songs honoring classic influences like Jerry Lee Lewis and Loretta Lynn while asserting her own voice. "I make music for myself," she says-and in doing so, she's created a deep bond with listeners who find strength and solace in her stories.
