Bryan Sutton - Bryan Sutton And Friends

Facts Hailed as one of the finest guitarists of his generation, GRAMMY award winner Bryan Sutton brings together esteemed players and artists including Bila Fleck, Chris Thile, Tim OBrien, Hot Rize, and Russ Bahrenburg on his new album Almost Live. The musicians in these sessions reflect just how central Bryan Sutton has become to acoustic music, not so many years after arriving as the fireballing flatpicker in the influential bluegrass revival band, Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder. Almost Live represents a collection of the many esteemed players that Sutton has had the chance to play with live over the years, including Bila Fleck, Chris Thile, Hot Rize, and Russ Bahrenburg. This album features traditional bluegrass tunes and original instrumentals as well as vocal performances by Chris Thile, Bryan Sutton, and Tim O'Brien. Package features liner notes by bluegrass connoisseur and scribe Craig Havighurst, as well as extensive cut-by-cut comments from Sutton himself.
