The Tarantula Waltz - Till Hälften Människa (Red/Yellow Lp)

Facts Markus Svensson has released five critically acclaimed albums in English as The Tarantula Waltz and toured with acts including The War on Drugs. Now he is back with his first album in Swedish, featuring guest appearances from Amanda Bergman & Markus Krunegård. Switching languages became a necessity to do justice to the songs' message. The album breathes everyday realism and turns the personal into the political. Markus drew his inspiration from his own experiences of a failing welfare system. It is intimate, direct and powerful, with a clear political edge - a combination that gets straight to the heart.
