The Kokomo Kings - Fighting Fire With Gasoline (Black Vinyl LP)

Facts The Kokomo Kings have earned a reputation for playing an uncompromising witch's brew cooked up from assorted roots music, deeply rooted in old rattling blues. They have been described as "more rock 'n' roll than rock 'n' roll" and "energy level 11."

The Kokomo Kings have played clubs and festivals in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Denmark, Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom.

In 2013 they released the debut album "Artificial Natural," and the band quickly became known in blues and rock circles. In 2017 the second album, "Too Good to Stay Away From," came out on the German label Rhythm Bomb Records. The German magazine Blues News named it album of the month, and the American outlet The Blues Junction named it the fifth best album of the year. In 2018 they were nominated for best rockabilly band at the Ameripolitan Awards in Memphis, and later that same year they won the "Band of the Year" award from the English The Blues Lounge Radio Show.

The third album, "Fighting Fire With Gasoline" from 2019, is the band's third album and gained wide circulation across Europe.
