The Ventures - Walk Don't Run

Facts This release features one of The Ventures' finest LPs: their superb debut Walk, Don't Run (1960), which features a mix of originals and hits drawn from several genres, including earlier rock & roll instrumentals ("Raunchy"), R&B numbers ("Night Train") and even film music ("My Own True Love [Tara's Theme]"). This musical goldmine was originally issued by the Dolton label. Although The Ventures wasn't the first instrumental group of the rock era, it was one of the most successful and enduring. Under the leadership of guitarist Bob Bogle, the band members applied their twangy, highenergy sound to dozens of albums. THE COMPLETE ALBUM + 7 BONUS TRACKS - 180-GRAM VIRGIN VINYL - LIMITED EDITION
