Various Artists - Terror From The Universe:Soundtrack

Facts Countdown to oblivion on this 26-track collection spiked with sci-fi dialogue and filmed in glorious Crampovision. Featuring wild rockabilly, unkempt rock 'n roll, novelty 45s, queasy listening and plenty of wonky pop sounds all in awe of the march into space. Including the weird and wonderful, mad scientists of sound, electronic innovators, easy listening space age pop and a homage or two to solar exploration. With Sun Ra And His Arkestra, primordial Theremin grooves, madcap rock 'n' roll instrumentals, George Martin in disguise, the legendary Basil Kirchin, guitar supremo Les Paul, Moondog and Esquivel among many others. Remastered from the original sound sources with sleevenotes by MOJO magazine's Dave Henderson.
