Various - Carol's Concerto Collection [2 For

Facts The internationally celebrated pianist Carol Rosenberger's A Concerto Collection is a diverse and dazzling collection that showcases six outstanding examples of her award-winning discography and collaborations with the conductor Gerard Schwarz. The collection features the second and fifth Haydn concertos, both of which are rarely played on piano, R. Strauss's Burleske, the seldom recorded contemporary composer Howard Hanson's Concerto in G Major and antasy Variations on a Theme of Youth, and closes with Manuel de Falla's Nights in the Gardens of Spain. Rosenberger's hallmark blend of polished virtuosity and poetically engaging interpretations nestle beautifully into Maestro Schwarz's compelling readings as he leads four distinguished ensembles: the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, the Seattle Symphony, the New York Chamber Symphony and the London Symphony.
