Rick Wakeman - Melancholia (Cd + Dvd Digipack)

Facts With Melancholia, Rick Wakeman concludes his trilogy of piano works, following Piano Portraits (2017) and Piano Odyssey (2018). Unlike the earlier albums, this one is more introspective and grew out of personal reflection, first inspired by the piece "Garo." Recorded on a Steinway Model D with producer Erik Jordan, the album offers a bare, resonant sound that shows Wakeman at his most intimate. Known from Yes and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, he here presents perhaps his most profound work. Special edition with 2 discs, CD+DVD, including the short film Melancholia. Digipack.
