Wayne Smith & Prince Jammy - Zarro (Zorro)

Facts "Zarro" was the first studio recording of the late Jamaican singer Wayne Smith, who would become the voice of dancehall's digital revolution with "Under Mi Sleng Teng" in 1985. The "Zarro" he refers to is the TV vigilante Zorro, a masked Disney Western pop culture hero of the 1950s and 60s, who Smith calls out from the "late night movies." In addition to this first recording and the more famous "Under Mi Sleng Teng," Smith also recorded outstanding but obscure LPs for Jammy, including Youthman Skanking in 1982 and Smoker Super in 1985.
