Willie Nelson - For Always

Facts Step back into the roots of American country music with Willie Nelson - For Always, a timeless LP that captures the rise of one of music's most iconic storytellers. In 1955, Nelson made his very first recordings "The Storm Has Just Begun" and "When I've Sung My Last Hillbilly Song" humble beginnings that hinted at the genius to come. Soon after, while touring as a bass player with Ray Price's Cherokee Cowboys, his songwriting lit up the charts for other artists. "Funny How Time Slips Away" became a hit for Billy Walker, and "Crazy," made famous by Patsy Cline, went on to become the biggest jukebox hit of all time. This LP also celebrates Nelson's early success as a performer, featuring his first charting singles "Willingly" (a heartfelt duet with Shirley Collie) and "Touch Me," both early glimpses of the smooth, soulful sound that would define his career. A must-have for every country music lover, this record tells the story of where the legend began.
