Wolverine - Anomalies

Facts Nomalies marks the long awaited return of Swedish progressive metal band Wolverine, arriving a full decade after their previous studio album Machina Viva (2016). The album blends melancholic progressive metal, cinematic atmospheres, and emotionally driven songwriting, continuing the band's evolution from their early death metal roots into a refined, introspective prog sound. Lyrically, Anomalies explores themes of aging, identity, anxiety, and emotional dislocation, delivered through layered arrangements, restrained heaviness, and expansive melodies. The record features the same core lineup as Machina Viva, signaling both continuity and maturity in the band's sound.
