The Beatles - Decca Tapes The (Lagoon Vinyl Lp)
LP
€38.99
Facts
These recordings (also known as the "Decca Sessions" or "Decca Auditions") were made to pitch The Beatles to Decca Records, which turned them down. Beatles manager Epstein chose a repertoire of songs including 12 covers and 3 originals. Dick Rowe, former CEO of Decca Records, was not impressed by the quality or the song choices, and signed Brian Poole & The Tremeloes from London instead. Lagoon Vinyl LP.
