Beatles The - Decca Tapes The (Red Cloudy Vinyl L
LP
€34.99
Facts
These recordings (also known as the "Decca Sessions" or "Decca Auditions") were made to pitch The Beatles to Decca Records, which turned them down. Beatles manager Epstein chose the repertoire, which included 12 covers and 3 originals. Dick Rowe, former head of Decca Records, was not impressed by the quality or the song selection and signed Brian Poole & The Tremeloes from London instead. Red Cloudy Vinyl LP.
