Marie Fredriksson - Live Från Cirkus (2LP)

Facts In 2014, Marie Fredriksson played her final tour featuring her own Swedish songs.
We hear her big hits such as “Sparvöga,” “Ett hus vid havet,” “Den bästa dagen,” “Ännu doftar kärlek,” and “Tro,” along with some newer songs like “Ett bord i solen.” Before the song, Marie explained to the audience that she wrote it after receiving her cancer diagnosis.

The tour traveled around the country, and the stop in Stockholm, at Cirkus on April 8, was chosen to be recorded.

All 18 songs from the concert are now on this double vinyl, a direct recording of the entire evening from the historic Cirkus in Stockholm. It feels intimate and authentic, with a powerful sense of an artist giving her audience everything.

This year marks ten years since the concert took place, and five years since Marie passed away. This release is meant to remember and honor one of our greatest female artists of all time, Marie Fredriksson.

It is a nice 180-gram double vinyl in a gatefold sleeve, a total edition of 1,000 copies.
